My name is Vaiana.
SOLA Swimwear was born from my love for sunshine, travel, and fashion, but above all, from a desire to create swimwear that celebrates freedom and natural beauty.
Originally from Polynesia, every ray of sun and every ocean wave has shaped my soul.
I created this brand because I couldn’t find swimsuits that combined the four essentials I value most : timelessness, quality, flattering high-cut silhouette, and eco-consciousness.
Designing minimalist and sustainable swimwear felt like a natural path, a tribute to the pure elegance and simplicity of nature.
With SOLA, I wanted to craft pieces that feel like a second skin, and designs that enhance the body without compromise.
Each piece is an invitation to embrace the light, live fully, and shine under the sun.

That’s why every piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in Bali, in a small-scale workshop we carefully selected for its artisanal expertise, human-scale production, and commitment to fair and responsible practices.
Behind every swimsuit, there are skilled and passionate hands, local artisans who bring each design to life with precision, care, and creativity. We honor their craftsmanship by embracing a slower pace of production, allowing time for quality, meaning, and sustainability to take shape.

Sustainable choices begin with conscious materials. For our collections, we’ve carefully selected Carvico Vita, a premium Italian fabric expertly crafted from ECONYL®, a high-quality recycled yarn made from recovered waste such as abandoned fishing nets and industrial scraps.
This innovative, high-performance material combines durability, softness, stretch, and UV protection, ensuring swimwear that is not only comfortable and long-lasting but also gentle on our planet. By choosing Carvico Vita, we honor both craftsmanship and sustainability, embracing a future where style and responsibility go hand in hand.
But our commitment doesn’t stop at the fabric.
Because every detail matters, we’ve designed our packaging with the same care and respect: recycled tissue paper, eco-friendly hygiene liners, sustainable shipping boxes, thoughtful thank-you cards, and soft cotton pouches made from recycled fibers.
